Backlighting Principle
Upon powering the device, the backlight circuit activates, causing the LED lamp beads to illuminate;
Light passes through the microstructures of the light guide film (such as dots or prisms), diffusing from a ‘point light source’ into a uniform ‘surface light source’;
This surface light penetrates the semi-translucent marking area of the panel layer, illuminating the keypad text/patterns to achieve backlit display;
When a key is pressed, the control circuit operates independently without affecting the backlight status, ensuring synchronised operation and display.

Visualised Operational Experience: Adjustable backlight brightness (typically 100–500 cd/m²) ensures clear key recognition in low-light environments (e.g., night inspections in industrial workshops, vehicle-mounted night operations), preventing misoperation.
Low Power Consumption and Extended Lifespan: Utilises surface-mount LEDs consuming merely 2-5mA per unit, substantially lower than conventional indicator lights. LED lifespan reaches 50,000-100,000 hours, matching the durability of membrane switches (500,000-1,000,000 press cycles), eliminating frequent replacement.
Sealed Protection: Retains the sealed structure of traditional membrane switches, achieving IP65/IP67 waterproof ratings. Resistant to dust and oil contamination, suitable for humid or dusty industrial or sanitary environments, while preventing LED short-circuits due to moisture ingress.
