Membrane Circuit Switchs can be developed using polyester or polyimide as the base material, depending on your interface requirements. From simple single layer copper flex on polyester to complex double-sided on polyimide, rapidly provides customers with application-specific solutions.
Membrane Switches Operating Principle
Static State: Upper and lower circuit layers are separated by an insulating layer, with the circuit in an open state and no signal transmission occurring.
Pressure Activation: Upon pressing the panel (or directly pressing the circuit area), the upper layer deforms with the substrate, passing through the insulating layer's through-holes to contact the lower layer. This forms a conductive loop, transmitting control signals to the device's main control system.
Reset Disconnection: Upon release, the substrate rebounds via its inherent elasticity, separating the upper and lower circuits. The circuit disconnects, terminating signal transmission.
